STL Files for 3D Printing

Standard tessellation language files are used to print three-dimensional objects with smooth surfaces. First, an artist draws the object using a computer-assisted design program. When CAD designs are saved as STL files for 3D printing, the surfaces of the object are rendered as hundreds or even thousands of logically arranged triangles. The triangular facets of an STL file accurately represent the curving surface geometry of a printable dildo.

STL files allow for the private production of personal devices intended for open-minded adults. When you use a SexShop3D STL file to build your own pleasure device, you can forget the embarrassment of being seen at a seedy brick-and-mortar adults-only toy store. Those places offer a rather limited selection of dildos, anyway. Our STL files allow you to customize the width and length of your new dildo however you like.

Created in 1989 by a company known as 3D Systems, the STL file format is the industry standard for rapid prototype 3D printing processes. No other CAD file format can provide the smooth curves of an adult plaything the way that STL can. And when it comes to toys that are used on and in sensitive parts of the body, smooth curves are a definite must.

It wasn’t so very long ago that 3D printing was the stuff of science fiction. Today, three-dimensional printers are more available than ever. If you’re an adult with an interest in custom sex toys and you have access to a 3D printer, you’ll want to check out our sweet selection of dildo patterns.
